Terms of Use
1. The platform & our partners
Zedula lists partner businesses (for example, Nama Nameng). When you place an order, you are buying that partner’s goods or services through the Zedula platform. The partner business is responsible for its products, pricing, quality, preparation and fulfilment. Zedula provides the ordering platform and settles the partner to their own bank account.
2. Ordering & pricing
Menus, catalogues and prices are set by each partner business, shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and subject to availability. A partner may confirm final details (such as the exact weight of items sold by value) at collection.
3. Payment
You may pay online by card (processed by our third-party payment provider) or by any other method a partner offers (such as pay on collection). When you pay by card, your card details are entered on and handled directly by the payment provider and are never stored by Zedula. See our Privacy Policy.
4. Collection & delivery
Most partners operate on a collection basis. Collection and any delivery arrangements are set out in our Collection & Delivery Policy and by each partner.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations and refunds are handled per our Refund Policy and the nature of the goods (for example, freshly prepared food).
6. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate contact details so your order can be confirmed.
- Collect or receive your order within a reasonable time.
- Raise any allergy, dietary or product query with the partner business before ordering.
7. Liability
Each partner business is responsible for the goods and services it provides. Zedula provides the platform “as is” and, to the extent permitted by law, is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act.
