This policy explains how Zedula (Pty) Ltd (Reg. 2026/303728/07) handles your information when you order through the zedula.co.za platform and its partner storefronts. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

1. What we collect

Your name and phone number — so your order can be prepared, confirmed and handed over.
Your order details — items, amounts and collection time.
We do not collect or store your card details. If you pay by card, your card information is entered on and handled directly by our third-party payment provider.

2. How we use it

We use your information only to fulfil your order, contact you about it, and keep a record of the transaction. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

3. Who we share it with

The partner business you ordered from — to prepare and hand over your order.
Our payment provider — to process your card payment securely.
Others only where required by law.

4. Payments

Card payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment provider. Your card data is transmitted directly to the payment provider over a secure connection and is never seen or stored by Zedula.

5. Storage & security

Order information is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure and kept only as long as needed for the order and our records. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.

6. Cookies & local storage

Partner storefronts use your browser’s local storage to remember your cart. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

7. Your rights (POPIA)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Contact us and we will assist.
